Wedding cinematography is where I learned to become a filmmaker. You don't get second chances. A laugh, a glance or an emotional moment happens once, and you have to be ready for it. Almost nine years behind the camera, working with names like Weddingz.in and Movie'ing Moments, I've learned that you can't force the story. You have to wait for it. The celebration is just the backdrop.

WHEN I CAN SLOW THINGS DOWN. After years of chasing moments at weddings, pre-weddings gave me the freedom to create. I have traveled to more than seven countries to capture couples in landscapes that feel as expansive as their stories. I can shape the light, location and movement, but I still want the film to feel like the couple — not like a collection of poses. The location creates the frame. The relationship gives it meaning.

I believe good cinematography starts before the camera rolls. It's about understanding people, finding the right moment, shaping the light and knowing when to simply let things happen. And because I'm also an editor, I don't just think about the shot — I think about where it belongs in the story.
The camera captures the moment. The edit gives it meaning.
